Was Anonym at Mango's a mag?
I've eaten the shawarma plate at Mangos several times. They accommodate my request for salad instead of rice, although I can't pass on their garlic potatoes. They are amazing, especially when they are fresh out of the kitchen! And the chicken, lots of white meat, always tender and moist. I've had shawarma at lots of places, in lots of cities and this is by far the best. View all feedback.

We ordered dilevery from this place. We got the wrong food and we were missing our soft drinks. Called back and they pretty much said tough luck. They did not want to send the delivery guy back to fix the order. Food wasnt good either. There is so many shawarma places in ottawa choose another one! View all feedback.
Stopped in with hungry adults got the dinner for which could probably feed or Salad was good. Chicken, beef and rice fantastic. Hummus very yummy and the service was great
This isn’t the best in Ottawa, it’s the best I have had anywhere in Canada or the US. Not sure why I tried a Shawarma in Mexico but that didn’t even come close either. Their food is fresh and tastes great every time. Their chicken...Shawarma plate is enough to feed two, but if you can put it all down yourself, you won’t need to eat for the rest of the day

I have been occasionally visiting this restaurant for 16 years now. Over time, there have been some changes. While they used to serve great shawarma, I now find the spice blend unappealing, with too much cinnamon. Their falafel has never been to my liking, as it tends to be too dry. However, I do enjoy their shish-taouk and tasty beef skewers, though there is usually a wait of about 15 minutes. Despite the wait, I find it worth it. Their potatoes are delicious, but their rice is once again heavy on the cinnamon. The chicken shawarma is good, but not as good as the beef used to be. I have never experienced bad service at this restaurant.
The food is delicious and the service is cafeteria style, whether you choose to dine in or get take-out. The portions are generous.
