Such a great first experience here. We had a small wait for our table and were brought a beer sample to try while we wait, we sat on the patio which was very cozy and heated. Tried a couple of items form the raw menu (Tartare Crudo) both were excellent and beautifully balanced. I can't wait to return! Price per person: $60–70 Food: 5

Top notch service and a delicious menu. They have a great local beer selection and some interesting wine choices. I always enjoy my meals here the food is creative and thoughtfully presented. Good spot for a girls night or a date. It does get a bit loud as everything is totally open so at times it's hard to hear, but overall, definitely worth the visit.
We stopped in spur of the moment on a weekend night, no reservations but were able to sit out on the lovely heated patio. Phenomenal beer list, with a great deal of care taken to offer unusual and exquisite beers. We got some small plates to share, starting with a delicious charcuterie board of house made pork pastrami and a few cheeses. The accompaniments were as tasty and well-matched as could be. Then we had a foie gras tart. I thought this would be a savory tart, but to my surprise it was like a dessert. With foie gras! The flavors were delicately sweet, balanced, and amazing. The foie gras was subtle without any of the mineral finish that it has sometimes. Seved with dulce de leche and sorrel, this was mind blowing. We then had a pasta dish with wild boar confit, smoked feta, and pickled kohlrabi. Another fantastic dish. Lastly, we ended with steamed apple cake, caramel, and green apple sorbet. Wow! Service was informed, super nice, and attentive. I can't recommend this enough.
Great food and atmosphere! Definitely a place for charcuterie lovers; he menu is small but refined. We had the endive salad it was delicious!! My favourite bite of the night.
One of my favourite places in the city for drinks. I especially love their cocktails but they have an incredible selection of beers and wines as well. My favourite drink is the the Bucky Mulloy cocktail pictured below with delicious rhubarb bitters. Their menu is always changing but my favourite item is the lamb galette (also pictured) and they always have delicious local cheese options on their charcuterie boards to choose from! Great service and even cooler atmosphere inside! In the summer, they also have a back patio which is very intimate and a must try!
A great bar on Wellington street with excellent service! I tried making a reservation online (which I highly recommend because they can get very busy and only have outdoor patio dining), and was the first on the wait list. Tried our luck and they were still packed with no room. However, the staff was incredibly nice and accommodating and created a makeshift table with a heat lamp for us on the side! I had a delicious aperol spritz, and we tried some appetizers. Highly recommend the crispy nori and the charred octopus. The caramel corn was just okay.

The employees at this restaurant are always friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drink options. It is a consistently amazing place to enjoy delicious food and a wide variety of drink choices. One of my top favorite spots without a doubt!
The beer selection is fantastic! The service is top-notch. Definitely worth a visit.
The food was incredible. Just absolutely perfect. We adored all three of the dishes we tried: sunchokes, tuna, and scallop crudo were all packed with flavour and to die for. They made us any cocktail we wanted (and we kept going off menu and every sip was perfect 10/10. It was packed and very very bustling (loud!! Would recommend for a high energy fine dining with excellent food.
Absolutely delicious! Best carpaccio I’ve ever had, best beef tartar in the city. Can’t go wrong with any of the mains. If you’re lucky enough to have Patrick as your server, it will be one of the best dinner experiences. He gives the perfect amount of attention, great timing, friendliness and knowledge of the menu. We’ll be back soon!

Don't overlook the charcuterie board, as well as the sour ales, of course. This place is becoming a fantastic destination for flavor enthusiasts in YOW.
The beer selection is incredible! The staff is knowledgeable about what they're serving, and the atmosphere is fantastic. I definitely recommend it! It's very popular, so making reservations in advance is definitely necessary.

We called late afternoon for a reservation on a Saturday night. That alone should tell you that we ought to have had a less than ideal chance at a wonderful anniversary supper. Instead, we had one of the most beautiful supper experiences ever. The only reservations left were two bar seats, right at the end, facing the kitchen. Some might have turned those seats down we didn't. And since last night we've already recommended to friends to reserve, and request those seats. To begin, we decided to create our own flights from the compellingly extensive beer menu it was fun and tasty, and we discovered some very interesting brews. Between the attention of the head chef, the care of the server, and the wonderful time we had chatting with, and watching the chef plating the meals as they were prepared our time there was perfect. And the food!!! I can hardly tell you how delicious our meals were: I had the char and my husband had the tenderloin. You must eat here. To top off our experience, we were treated to a not yet on the menu dessert of cheesecake. (To call it a cheesecake is completely misleading. It was a delicious, beautiful plate of sweetness. What a generous gift. Thanks to the whole staff who took such amazing care of us. We look forward to our next experience there.
Absolutely fantastic restaurant experience. Really enjoyed everything about this restaurant. The beer menu is extensive and well curated. I tried 5 beers and liked them all and I love that they have different sizes so you can sample a bunch. The food menu is fun and interesting and changes with what's seasonally available. I had the charcuterie, the agnolotti and the brownie with gelato. I wish the chartcuterie came with larger portions of meat, but it was otherwise delicious and the selection was varied and fun and came with lots of great accompaniments and the other two dishes were unique and very tasty. The staff was sooooo friendly. They were incredibly attentive to the point that one of them ran after us after we left because I accidentally left my broach and really made the experience great. And the manager was so nice! Both in helping me sort something out an just generally walking around the restaurant and helping out wherever he could. I would seriously recommend this restaurant to any foodie and anyone who enjoys craft beers.
That #charcuterie platter was among my best food experiences in Ottawa for the past year. The Zacharie Cloutier cheese and pickled goodies moved me. Amazing place for a #sourhead (someone who likes sour beers).
I’ve now been twice. I really enjoy the smaller pours; you get to try more. Food has been spot-on, and the fact they cater to the larger drinking crowd with ciders, wine, and other cocktails (like Caesars), makes them a very, very busy spot. Service has been attentive and friendly. Highly recommend making reservations; otherwise, you might be disappointed.
Celebrated a birthday at Lupulus yesterday and had a lovely time. Although the place was packed, as it usually is, service was attentive, friendly and quick. The beer list (taps and bottles) is one of the best in Ottawa. The staff really make customers feel welcome and appreciated. Overall a great evening!

It was such a lovely time at bar lupulus. All of my closest friends were in attendance. What a grand ol' time.
Big fan of your place. Dont mind driving from lachute quebec. Love your beer selection
Patio was quiet and had a good ambiance. The service was excellent, attentive and very well versed about drinks and menu. The tuna, scallops and tartar were excellent. Overall, our experience was lovely.
Love the food, great service! Their cocktails are fantastic. Not many vegetarian options though.
This was my 3rd visit. On the previous 2 visits the food and service were superb. This time, the food was cold, not very tasty, the patio heater was too far away to provide adequate warmth, and the server was rarely seen. We had to go inside and stand at the bar and flag someone down in order to be able to pay and leave.

What a great experience! Large selection of local bears, beautiful terrace and interesting waiting staff. I enjoyed the lamb and the chocolate cake.
Actually Bar lupulus on the Resy app for a while, but I guess it's traditional bar with regular bar dishes so I've never been there until my last roommates recommended me. Wow, the dishes and drink both about my expectation. They offer craft beer in different sizes 4 oz 9oz etc. All right and you should try some fruit beer if you don't like this strong IPA. As you can see in my uploaded pictures. My girl and I drink 13 glasses (2 free as compensation because no cocktail when beer night. Dishes is Ottawa's first level in any case, Liver, Duck Pasta are the most impressive throughout the entire menu (almost order all menu . I will watch this year again.
Amazing cocktails! I had drinks after dinner, so I didn't try the food, but will definitely return to dinner soon. The drinks are delicious and creative with funny names. Service is knowledgeable and about all top notch. Thank you to the bartenders and service staff!
If 6 were an option, this place would get it. Don't be fooled by bar or lupulus, because while hops on tap are amazing, the wine list and cocktails are just as so, and the staff is trilingual in everything you want. But the Lupus in sheep's clothing is the fully up-standing restaurant hidden behind the bar. Chef joined the team 9 months ago, and a word... extraordinary. The kitchen and bar staff complement each other seamlessly. If you can get a place at the bar, you will not be disappointed. What a perfect evening.
Expensive cocktails but food was gorgeous, delicious and worth it. Had the scallops, which were served cold with a delicious sauce, strongly recommended. Good for sharing. Also had the paw paw mousse and Graham cracker iced cream. Also delicious and really interesting. Customer service was excellent. The staff make you feel like they are there for you and are very knowledgeable about their food. Cocktails were interesting, I couldn't decide and had the staff recommend two. They were definitely different then cocktails I have tried before, and I quite enjoyed the surprise. Also, vaccinations are still required, so you know they are making sure to keep their staff and other patrons safer. Overall excellent experience and I will be returning. One of my favorite places in the city for drinks. I especially love their cocktails, but they also have an incredible selection of beer and cry.
Great food and atmosphere! definitiw a place for charcuterie lovers; he menu is small, but refined. we had the endive salad that it was delicious! my favorite.
A great bar on the wellington road with excellent service! I have tried to make a reservation online (which I highly recommend because they can get very busy and get.
The pizza here ordered a few times. last time there was a mix with the order, but they did it right. Great service and the pizzas are delicious.
Cost everything about this meal. the service was good, but eating would bring me back. we enjoyed the drinks and the variety of beers. especially the short nativity was incredible. the dessert was just as good as the crawling court. but the unstarter was exceptional.
