I absolutely love this place. Fortunately, I live nearby so I visit every weekend and it always feels like a little slice of paradise. When I first started going, they mainly served pulled pork with delicious sides. However, they have since expanded their menu to include bacon-wrapped sausages and BBQ wings. I have tried everything on the menu and it's all delicious. The pulled pork is incredibly flavorful, while the... View all feedback.
What Édith Lambert doesn't like about Little Red Shack BBQ:
Food: I definitely like this type of BBQ more than the big bone bbq because of the sauce. I had a pulled pork sandwich. Did not like the side dishes too much. Next time will try coleslaw.Atmosphere: It is an actual shackService: OK. Lady gave us some koolaid pickles for free.Price: Kind of high due to sandwich size $15 or so for a platter.Overall: I would return View all feedback.
Had the beef brisket and it was excellent. Cornbread and cole slaw were excellent as well. Very friendly woman serving. It has become our favorite BBQ place.
The bbq is always excellent. The ribs and pulled pork are to die for. This is a must go bbq shack always great food.
I tried the ribs from (as it turned out) the top 3 rib vendors at Ribfest last year but the ribs from the Little Red Shack beats the heck out of them! (not to mention ribs from places like Baton Rouge) These ribs reminded me...of ones I've had in the southern US very tender, fall apart, and deliciously smoky. We love to get their jalapeno poppers too whenever available, and to try out other new offerings, such as the prosciutto wrapped chicken recently...SO good, that crispy exterior salty goodness with a smoky moist chicken interior. Friendly and fast take out, or you can sit at the picnic tables. We are lucky to have this authentic BBQ available for several months each year. Enjoy!
It is a small shack, nothing fancy, but the flavours they produce in that smoker are to die for. Ribs, are excellent, the jalapeno poppers a hit always and the chicken drumsticks are possibly the best way of eating chicken and the brisket is the...best I have ever tried. I just mentioned some of the things I have tried, but so far nothing there has disappointed me. On top of that excellent food, the owners, a very friendly couple, are always smiling happy to serve you and trying new things that add to their menu of smoked delicious mains and sides. Highly recommended
The little red Shack delivers big taste, great food and wonderful service. If you are craving some great pulled pork or slow-cooked brisket with a beautiful smoke ring this is the place for you. They are doing barbecue right. You need to go hungry because...you will leave with your belly full. They offer great sides such as cornbread, creamy mac and cheese, coleslaw, slow cooked pit beans and let's not forget Kool Aid pickles !!! Don't let appearances fool you, The Little Red Shack is worthy of 5 stars!!
