A Real Glebe Gem. This is a mixed art gallery and restaurant for the walls are all covered with very interesting acrylic paintings done by the owner.. However I go there for the great food. The lamb kafta is a real treat and exceptional value for $12. All the food is made inhouse from the Hummus to the Baklava. We love middle eastern food and wanted to try that restaurant because it had good reviews. We ordered 2 plates: lamb and shish taouk. The lamb was a complete miss and tasted everything but lamb. It was more like an Armenian soujouk. The shish taouk was breaded and deep fried. The breading was not fresh at all and tasted sour. Worst experience ever. Never will return to that restaurant. This was an excellent evening! We asked Raouf for recommendations and he did not steer us wrong! Everything was delicious. Will definitely have to come again. On top of the great food, his art is a gorgeous

Amazing middle eastern eatery in the Glebe! Very friendly owner, who is actually also the artist of the beautiful paintings and decorations in this resto that makes you feel like you're in the Mediterranean.Food is well priced and delicious, with vegetarian options. New this place years ago! From first time I liked everything about..Great food, service and amazing surroundingCouldn't take my eyes of the paintings and decoration.
If you want to have a dinner that makes you feel like you’re at home, I highly recommend trying this restaurant. I really enjoyed the kafta and my friends were in love with the lentil soup. The owner is so so so friendly and kind and the ambiance was 10/10!!! Would definitely return for another delicious meal :
