The restaurant in question seems to have mixed reviews. Some diners found the food to be disappointing, with bland flavors and overpriced dishes. Others enjoyed the inventive cuisine and creative flavors, even if they found the prices to be a bit high. Despite the varying opinions on the food, many guests praised the friendly service and top-notch presentation of the dishes. Some guests particularly enjoyed the takeout options offered by the restaurant, while others found the atmosphere to be noisy and overpriced. Overall, it seems like the Fraser Cafe has something to offer for a wide range of diners, with some loving the experience and others feeling underwhelmed.

We had heard about this upscale foodie from friends. It's a really nice find, across Ottawa downtown - 10 min by car.

Still a hip, happening joint. Had brunch today with my folks and the menu was interesting and appetizing. I don't usually get too chuffed about brunch but today was notable. Had the Scotch Egg Caesar Salad, which was tasty and well presented. The cheeseburger with fried egg was a good size and very flavourful. It was very busy and noisy, even at 1pm. Too noisy for my parents to make out conversation, so maybe not a good spot for the hearing-challenged (anyone over 50! Brunch for 5 of us was almost $200 including tax and tip, so budget accordingly. Brunch anywhere is overpriced, but here it didn't feel like I was just paying exorbitantly for plain bacon and eggs! The coffee was good too!
