A white man took care of my coat and gave me a ticket, but I ended up losing it by the end of the night. When I returned to retrieve my coat, he refused to give it to me even after I asked twice. I then shared my experience with my friends, and a white friend of mine stepped in to help communicate with him. It was obvious that he listened to my friend but not to me. This was my first visit, and I left feeling disappointed by the racism I experienced.

End of the night, some skuzzy Middle Eastern gang beat up one of our entourage by the bathrooms. Bouncer just watched it happen apparently. Told my friend they were friends with the owner so he couldn't do anything. Go somewhere else.

However, it tends to get very crowded on a typical Friday night, and the staff can be quite rude. Additionally, the entrance fee is one of the highest in town—$25 just to dance to Afro-Caribbean music? It feels excessive for what’s offered.

There was a counter where the dance floor should have been, and I noticed glass bottles and scissors scattered on the floor. Plus, water was $5!
