as a German almost a natural knower of schnitzel and latezle, I can only recommend this place. you could really see that his chef, paul, lived in Central Europe and tried to create an honest, traditional, culinary experience. not only eating the restaurants, but the warm personal and romantic furniture that are rounded off by classical music, they teleport somewhere between Austria, Germany and Hungary. Came here after a recommendation from a friend. hostess/ waitress was super friendly and visited all my needs. I had the pirogies, carving with spatzle and red cabbage salad. all eating was beyond my expectations. the food was cooked to perfection and was made with excellent quality. I believe most if not all food homemade and taste excellent. portions were very generous. for dessert I had the cake that was a sliced cake that tasted honey. I was told that the cake was also homemade and the taste reflected it. after dinner was over, I was greeted by the chef to whom I passed my compliments. I'm a big fan of this little restaurant and can't believe I've never heard of it. I will definitely tell my family and friends of this precious stone and will come back very soon.
I came here for my birthday this Friday, it was also my first time here. Our waitress was lovely and super kind and the food was amazing, I will be back at some point in the future. Thank you Duna Bistro!
Love this restaurant, great waitress and owner. good is delicious and well portioned.
Paul makes the best Sniztchel in town. Friendly service. I also love their cabbage rolls. I love the Yeager sauce with the Sniztchel and mashed potatoes with carmalized onions. I chose the cucumber salad , but the beets are also to die for. The Sniztchel is so big there is enough for leftovers.
