Dining Hall - Ottawa
Dining Hall
Description
This campus dining hall offers unbeatable value: an $18 daily pass, ample seating, customizable stations and vegetarian/vegan choices, with composting and waste-reduction practices. Diners praise quick, caring staff and a lively, social atmosphere, but note inconsistent food quality, repetitive chicken-heavy rotations, and frequent deep-fried dishes. Serious sanitation concerns — insect sightings and questionable soda/water hygiene — and occasional staff-management lapses temper the praise. Best for budget-conscious students and visitors seeking variety when the rotating menu hits the mark.

Whats wrong with this place isn't the food but the staff. incredibly rude and inappropriate !!!
I just went in to ask a question before dining, and I encountered a lady (possibly from Africa or the Caribbean) who was incredibly rude and had the worst attitude. Manager, please take action on this.
Big enough issue with bugs appearing in food to begin, but the unsanitary conditions especially over the holidays are quite sickening. bugs flying around food, compost area, tables. water has odd white swirls in it often. soda dispensers are clearly not regulated properly as they cause sickness. this place needs a health inspector seriously.
