This was my first time since the pandemic at Daly's breakfast buffet and I was very disappointed. There was a remarkable decline in quality. Sausage looked good, but was mush around the crispy interior. Eggs/Omelette very average. Bacon was excellent. French toast and pancake sad D.O.A. under the heat lamps. Fruit was quite fresh, but the selection was unimaginable. The station was sad. Juices were not refilled. The restaurant has tiny glasses that I appreciate to keep customers from drinking too much juice. Mediocre yogurt. Very limited selection of sweets, while the earlier was a highlight. All in all a very average buffet; while it was something special before the pandemic. The price is no longer worth (approx. $40 per person). Service and ambience were both good.

Brunch was overwhelming. Poultry eggs in the room temp, terrible potatoes, not “crispy hash browns” like menu beats. Bacon was a little fat. Toast was good again at room temperature. Not many alternatives to Sunday brunch in Ottawa??

Scenic view looking at the canal, not too busy. Lots of food choices for all of us and all very fresh. Our server and all staff were very pleasant and kept our coffee full and dishes cleared as we all enjoyed the buffet.
