Yummy on a Sunday morn. Love walking around WB on a Sunday morning and I always make a stop here to pick up a cup a java.
Dear Tracey Clarke: If you have ever wandered over to my blog, which I hope you have, you will know that I love food. More importantly, I love coffee. Good coffee. Lucky for me, there are now a dozen Bridgehead coffeehouses dotting the urban landscape here in the nation 's capital. Today I stopped in to your Golden Street location at precisely 1:40 pm. Being one of your larger stores, I think of that particular coffeehouse as the 'gateway ' to 'Westboro West '. My mission was to pick up two critical breakfast
Big space a plus. It's Bridgehead. So yes the coffee and food bits are good. The best thing about this location is that it's big, so you are more likely to find a place to sit. Feels cleaner also than some of the other locations which can't keep up with the mess the crowds make (e.g. the Bank and Albert location)
It's a great stop when were out on the bikes. Little patio makes it easy to run in and run out.
I'm not usually one to indulge in snacks at coffee shops since I typically go for the drinks, but every time I've tried their baked goods, I've been thoroughly impressed. The café itself is quite spacious, featuring both indoor and outdoor seating, and it always draws a lively crowd.
