Oh my goodness... The pastries were DELICIOUS! *chef kiss* . They were fresh and flakey and buttery! That blueberry danish was huge! And those blueberries were so fresh even though it was not blueberry season! The banana muffin was dense and MOIST most important quality in a muffin . Not too sweet, so the banana flavour was very present. I highly recommend taking the jam bun! It's like a pastry roll filled with a fru... View all feedback.

This is good bread. I tried the country sourdough. Unlike many other bakeries, they score their loaves crosswise rather than lengthwise, giving it a dramatic, flourishing appearance. The bread has a nice, dark crust. One thing to note is that while the crumb is very open, indicating a well fermented dough, it is still very substantial and full. The taste is all there; tangy, earthy, slightly bitter with a fleeting note of sweetness. It is exactly how you want bread to taste. The only (minor) dra

Would give 7 stars if I could. Thank you so much for keeping the art alive so to say and providing real, good bread.I hope there will always be bakeries like yours and humanity will never see the day when there’s nothing left but Costco and big chain grocery stores.
Bread By Us is my favourite bakery in Ottawa. Their bread is the best — I love their multigrain bread, whole wheat bread, focaccia and baguettes. I'm very happy to hear that they will continue to require customers to wear masks — it's the right thing to do, to protect the health of everyone in our community. Local delivery service and store pickup are available; you can order from the bakery's website.
That's good brot. I tried the land sourdough. in contrast to many other bakers, they scored their broth crosswise and not in the longitudinal direction, which gives it a dramatic, flowering look. the brot has a beautiful, dark crust. a thing to note is that while the crumb is very open, which indicates a well fermented dough, it is still very considerable and full. the taste is all there; brownish, earthy, slightly bitter with a volatile note of sweetness. it's just how they want that bread tastes. the only (minor) part is that the crust is not all that is scratchy, and is rather fluffy in the opposite too sturdy and crispy. I didn't try anything else here, but I wouldn't hesitate. the personal was very friendly and the price reflected the quality of the product.
Great equipment and have a lot of pastries, bread and food items to choose from. her croissants are very good, only complaining is that I can hardly taste the mandel or maple in the maple almond croissant, I saw the mandel filling, but I enjoy a bit of a mandel extract in the filling.
