We tried majority of their menu :) We started off with 12 pieces of Mantu (seems like a dumpling of some sort with ground-beef and other spices and toppings). We also order "Chicken tikka rolls'; one of my favorites. For the main course we order a platter containing rack of lamb, chicken shami, and Beef tikka, came with rice and salad. Everything on the menu I personally had tried. Every single dish on the menu has its on signature. Love it! Good portion, Great service, and clean clean clean!! One of the best Afghani restaurant i ever been in Ottawa.

Service was great, family are so friendly, restaurant was really clean, nicely laid out. Food - what can I saw - sooooo good! We shared samosas, nice and spicy but not too much - pastry was light. Main we shared a platter, meat, rice, bread and salad - all fantastic. Shame we don't live in Ottawa, we would loved to visit again.

Not only it serves delicious Afghan food with generous helpings, but it is also unmatched by the excellent service and hospitality offered by the owner and his son. We have been to the restaurant several times, and we have always had an excellent experience. Our favorites are Shami Kabab, Karayi Kabab and the Eggplant dishes. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try a unique Afghan food experience. You will not be disappointed.

It felt like I was enjoying a wo... read more The meal was absolutely fabulous and beautifully presented. Each dish, from the appetizers to the main course, was outstanding! It felt like I was enjoying a wonderful home-cooked meal. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, even offering us green tea after our meal. I highly recommend everyone to try this restaurant, and I'm hoping they move downtown where I live because I would eat there at least once a week. Kudos to the owners!
