The cocktails we orde... read more I had an excellent meal before a show. The mushroom toast, gnocchi, tofu bowl, and crème brûlée were all fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The cocktails we ordered were well-balanced and had a festive touch for the season. Our server was attentive yet allowed us the space to enjoy our meal. I highly recommend visiting, even if you’re not attending a show. I can’t wait to return.

The sta... read more Convenient location if staying near Parliament Hill. Classic interior but reserve seating outside a large patio for a great view along the Rideau Canal. The staff are professional and attentive. Special shout out to the bartender, Brian. Great service. The food service is well prepared and not rushed. A short menu carefully thought out for freshness and seasonal ingredients. Bravo to the Chefs and kitchen staff.

Ho... read more We had a bit of trouble navigating from the underground parking since all the doors were locked, which the restaurant should really address for their guests. However, once we got inside, we enjoyed our well-prepared and satisfying meals — the sweet potato gnocchi, sirloin on a creamy mashed potato bed, and a nice piece of hazelnut-encrusted cod, although it was a bit thinner than expected. The restaurant was quite empty, likely due to COVID-related cancellations and the inconvenient access caused by the locked entrances. The service was friendly and attentive, but a suggestion for improvement would be to avoid reaching across diners, especially in these COVID times.

Located in a prime spot with a lovely view of the canal, the restaurant features a stunning interior and the potential for a wonderful waterfront patio in the warmer months. Tonight, we indulged in their roasted beetroot salad and a warm lentil and mushroom tofu bowl, and we shared the cranberry apple bread pudding with maple ice cream for dessert. Each dish was beautifully presented and incredibly delicious from beginning to end.

You need to book WAY ahead if you want a seat when there is a show at the NAC.
