The food at this location was spectacular. What Denver Kelly doesn't like about Maverick's Donuts, Stittsville:
The first time I tried Mavericks it was disappointing. I went to the counter and the lady told me her most popular flavor was a lemon something. So we took two out onto the patio and found that the donuts were flavorable but they tasted like they've been sitting out too long. They weren't very fresh. Plus there's no bathrooms at the store. Clean, super friendly, awesome donuts. Outside of Holey Confections, this is the best donut in town.
Donuts are always deliciously fresh, service is always pleasant, and the apple fritters never fail to put a smile on my face ?The maple bacon donuts are a close second though, always so good ??Vegetarian options: There are vegan donuts options ?Parking: Lots of space in the parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Doesn't get more kid friendly than donuts! ??
Besides their fantastic donuts day to day, we made an online order for 30 donuts and had a response within the hour. We were able to pick the flavours, pay ahead and pick up on our desired day. The donuts are delicious and the team is so kind and have great customer service skills!
Customer service was exceptional. I was facilitating a friend who lives out of town to purchase a box of donuts and the POS system was being difficult and the owner was so supportive (even gave a free coffee to the individual waiting behind me so he wouldn't have to be delayed longer). Very considerate and thoughtful.
I was like a “kid in a candy shop” when I walked in.Forget ordering a half dozen….go for the full dozen!!….and even then, there was so much more left to choose from.They almost all didn’t make it home in the car.
