Four Seasons Cookhouse - Ottawa

This is the best kept secret for a decent basic family style dining spot that has been missing for years. Breakfasts are hearty and served all day at a reasonable price. <br/ <br/ Had the fabulous Smokehouse burger this time and my wife likes the Mushroom Swiss burger. Have been back several times and I don't always log my rating or what I have tried. The good news is that I have never been disappointed. Once again, people are missing the boat here. Outside looks are deceiving but they have done a great job redoing the interior as a good basic diner. Considering its original roots as a MacDonalds (yes, I remember), Nates, Cora's and perhaps a few others since forgotten this is a great spot!!! Don't let this place die. Support it.

Great place for breakfast! Cheap prices and good portions. The staff is extremely friendly, and the food comes out very quickly. The breakfast includes the coffee which is great. The inside looks recently renovated and a lot bigger than what it looks on the outside. Definitely come by and try them out.

Our server was prompt and polite. Food was plentiful and hearty fare with good value for the prices. The cheesecake was very tasty. Overall would highly recommend for budget conscious diners. As a bonus it has karaoke nightly if you are looking for a meal and entertainment. My partner had the burger with smoked meat piled on it and I had the chicken melt with guacamole. Will definitely go back!

VERY HAPPY!!!! AMAZING FOOD and great service! Poor server was alone but he managed to serve an entire room of people calmly, fast and efficiently, with a great smile. Amazing food !!! Kudos to the cook for the great breakfast. All day breakfast is always the best! Will definitely be returning often. Amazing prices and quality beats baton rouge and all the other guys. Cozy and super homey!
