We came here last year, really enjoyed the food here. Me and my parter visited again this year, still enjoy the food very much. Fried squid is very good, pizzas are nice as well. For me the price is slight high, however I would visit again for sure :
Good pizza. Have people that can speak some English and their pizzas, without the cheese meat, are plant based and vegan. Apparently, per an Italian friend, they let the dough of the pizza sit for a number of hours. I was told 30 hours. This makes it easier to digest. Well after 4 pizzas the two of us felt no blooting and they were delicious. Unfortunately when olives are added they aren't pitted and they only had green olives. They had no basil unfortunately when we visited. They open at 7pm but as Italians eat later they aren't really ready until about 7:30pm. We were the first customers to arrive and we were 7:10pm on a Saturday in June. You can add extras to your pizza also. I started with a marinara and added mushrooms. Add some chilli olive oil on the side and it was great.
High quality/price ratio. We tasted the Salento pizza, the tuna steak and the fried calamari. All very good dishes with fresh, quality products. The chips made by them and served as a snack while waiting are also delicious. The Salento rosé wine was also very pleasant and of excellent quality. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, both with us and with our dog (who promptly brought a bowl of fresh water). The view of Otranto enjoyed from the restaurant is spectacular.
