Our young lady waitress was... read more We are delighted that the receptionist at out hotel recommended Balconcino to us as the entire experience was absolutely excellent. Our young lady waitress was fantastic and advised us extremely well and helpfully. All of the food that we ordered was without exception delicious and the wine was completely what we wanted and expected from a primitivo. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant and wish that we were staying longer in Otranto so that we could go again.

What it lacks in views it seriously makes up for in the quality, price and presentation of the food. The sharing starter begins a great meal, the presentation of the lovely bread in a brown bag and the choice of main courses followed by desserts make this a dining experience to remember. The wines were superb. This restaurant was so good we went back a second night and wished they were nearer to where we live.
