You HAVE to stop here. Such a great establishment! The owner, Steve and his staff are so friendly and helpful. Due to the franklin storm, we arrived at the island a day late and lost our reservation for loungers and we ended up having several more people join us. They took great care of us, placed us at a great shaded table next to the beach with great views, breeze and ample space. Food was amazing! Staff was amazing! My favorite part???? $30/hr massages by the beach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was literally one of the best massages I've had in a long time. During our trip, it started to rain. The staff quickly gathered all of our food and drinks and items and set us up at another table inside of the facility. Lastly, we didn't even have to ask for a taxi or shuttle. After we finished paying our tabs, the guys rounded up taxi's for us and made them wait for us! Just an amazing establishment with great people, good prices and amazing massages! You have to visit! Steve and his crew will take great care of you!

The Owner is friend of ours from Texas.He is always willing to give excellent knowledge and advise on our quest to retirein Mexico.The food is great and his staff is always so friendly and courteous. I watch closely the patron at Steves place an they are having a great time. And making Sure Steve knows how much they enjoyed.

Well let me tell you what a GREAT day my wife,daughter and I had at the Tropicante. We followed the map and instructions provided by the website. We were met by Cain holding a sign with our name on it. HE led us to the beach and showed us the area. We had requested chairs in the shade and they delivered. THere were plenty of full sun chair, umbrellas, and shaded by lush palm tree areas. Cain introduced us to co workers as well as the owner Steve. We had a bucket of 12 beers for $15 and also great Nachos and quesadillas. The beach was very nice soft sand and the calm aqua waters were crystal clear. A perfect day at the beach. We planned on staying maybe an hour to hour and a half and ended up there about 5 areas. THey were FANTASTIC hosts, food was great and we felt very safe there as well. . We will DEFINITLY come back when in Costa MayaWe were there Aug 2, 2017
