We visited Press Box by boat on the canal. The menu offered excellent options, including a delicious burger, wings, and thin-crust pizza. With huge TVs and fantastic outdoor fire tables, it’s a great spot. Highly recommended!
I visited this restaurant during the move-in for Oswego State freshmen. We were greeted by a sarcastic waitress, but sadly, we ended up being ignored for over an hour. After waiting for an hour and 45 minutes, we decided to get our own drinks at the bar. We noticed there were five different waitresses on staff, yet the customer service was lacking. As a former server, I understand that tips often reflect the level of attention received. I would advise fellow patrons to be cautious.
I called ahead to order food for myself and my son, but I ended up waiting more than 20 minutes for it when I arrived, which I didn’t mind too much since the restaurant was busy. However, when I got home and opened our meals, I was extremely disappointed to find that the food was overcooked. My son's grilled chicken was more like burnt chicken jerky. Overall, it was a letdown.
The outdoor seating is lovely, and while the service was a bit slow, it wasn't overly bothersome. They offer a great selection of craft beers on tap.
A nice afternoon to sit on the deck, enjoying the sunshine. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and efficient. Chili was excellent, sandwich was tasty. A nice place to relax, have a beer and lunch. Wheelchair accessibility: We needed the ramp for the wheel chair. Bathroom was a bit tight, but easy access.
