Pizzeria Garibaldi - OSTUNI

Wow. Great pizza served in an amazing venue by knowledgeable friendly staff. The prices were so cheap we thought the had made a mistake but they hadn't! The ambience of the whole town is amazing but the square is special. Leave room for a gelato, pistachio was the favourite. we will be back.

When all restaurants around are full and to get a table you need either a prenotazione or wait for 30 minutes.... and then, you see one that are nearly empty...hummm, that is your hint, not to go there. Classic case, how bad can a pizza be in Puglia, well, this one took the cake....really, really not good. Bad service, asides from the friendly black server, the rest are no good at all. While eating, saw many tables seating and then leaving, extremely long wait for the pizza, even though it was almost empty,This restaurant has a great location and lots of potential. I hope. this review servers as a constructive one to the owners, to change their service and food or pass it on to other entrepreneurs that might want to run a ¨not tourist trap¨

I mean don't do it. If you are tempted to eat here, I suggest you go to the local 7/11, buy some crisps and a bottle of pop, and go and eat it n your hotel room. Seriously. You will have a better dining experience. Impossibly slow non existent service AND the pizza when it came was simply not good. This is Italy FFS. And it was over priced. Grim.
