Dropped rating to 3 stars. I certainly understand everyone is short staffed these days and I will patiently wait. This evening I was the only one waiting to order food and the employee saw me and never said anything to me. She took a break to the sideto have a drink then waved to me and walked away. I ended up leaving without ordering. Can't see giving my money if the employeecan't even acknowledge me. Too bad because this was becoming a regular stop for me.

Great ice cream. Food is very basic, and for me, unsatisfactory. People are nice and pleasant

Situated right by the roadside, this restaurant presents an impressive selection of delicious dishes, including fried clams and gourmet cheeseburgers loaded with toppings. The screened porch and picnic tables provide a charming setting as you await your meal. With reasonable prices and a seasonal schedule, it’s an excellent spot to savor a laid-back and satisfying dining experience.

We were looking forward to trying Windy Fields up the road but they had no public restroom. Things were becoming an emergency so we stopped here even though the restroom is a nasty Port-a-Potty. Any port in a storm... We ended up getting burgers and fries which turned out to be darn good and worth the trauma of the facilities.
