On a Friday... read more I stopped by this restaurant for a short visit before a family event nearby. It’s a charming spot that likely has a lively atmosphere in the summer. On a Friday late afternoon, it was quite peaceful inside, but the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, offering us samples and making great suggestions. We particularly enjoyed the Stout and the Butcher Killer Cream Ale—those were definitely our favorites! We ended up taking a few four-packs home to share at the family gathering. I also really liked their glassware!

We finally decided to give it a try, and we were welcomed by the friendliest bar staff! My husband sampled the pale ale and stout from SSKB, and he enjoyed both immensely. I chose the guest ciders, which were fantastic. If you’re hungry, the hot dogs and pretzels are excellent. I can’t wait to bring my friends here!
