Can’t recommend this place more highly. Superb food and service. Now I understand why you have to book ahead.

Great meal at The Blue Bell this evening, lovely atmosphere and good pub food. Lovely setting and enjoyed sitting out in the beer garden whilst studying the menu.

Absolute feast of a Sunday Lunch takeaway during lockdown)! Definately worth treating yourself to)

This review has been a long time coming and I should have done it sooner. Sam, Chris and all of the staff at the Blue Bell Inn are quite simply amazing. When we moved into the village we really hoped the village pub was going to be what we wanted it to be. Well kept beer, wide selection of drinks, quality menu and reasonable prices. We were not disappointed. The standard that they set themselves is incredibly high and they continue to meet and exceed it. The menu is renewed regularly with specials as well of the usual favourites that you would expect. The staff make you feel welcomed from the moment you walk though the door. We have been to nearly every “specials” night that they have during the week and are blown away by how good the food and service is every time. Booking is essential for “Steak night”, Fish and Chip Friday and as for Sunday lunches, good luck getting a seat if you haven’t booked in advance. There is a reason that these weekly events are so busy and quite simply it’s because they are so good. If you are looking for somewhere to eat or have a relaxing pint in the Summer sunshine, make your next stop the Blue Bell Inn.

Stopped here last night in my campervan, first things first the cider is amazing just taste of apples 3 pints in need to go onto beer brilliant fresh crispier then onto the whiskey great loved it, The wife had 3 glasses of wine she said it was great?,. The food starters was potato skins, whitebait, bread I think it was with garlic butter whatever it was **** good. Maincourse the wife had the pie steak and kidney with mash it was out of this world I had horse shoe gammon it was amazing the chips was fantastic (so was the Pineapple which I don’t normally eat but it was **** good) definitely come back I would recommend having a packet of pork scratchings half an hour before **** beautiful.
