I’ve been a consumer of TripAdvisor for a long time, but never took the time to create a review, until now. I’ve travelled the world, and always thought the best food was in the US South (New Orleans, Birmingham, Atlanta, Greenville, Memphis), but the Schnitzel here at Vintage Kitchen rivals the best dish anywhere. It makes me feel at home, as does the pleasant staff, but with a unique, Scandinavian touch. Highly rec... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Vintage Kitchen:
We did not eat at the restaurant up stairs as it was closed for lunch. So we ate lunch at the bar. The atmosphere was very nice, the waiters were very friendly and so was the cook, as we sat in the bar across from the mini kitchen on the first floor. The restaurant offers a wide choice of Smørbrød Norwegian sandwich to a relatively good price.… More View all feedback.
Located centrally and easy to find, this restaurant has a cozy interior with a small number of guests. The food was excellent, with a menu featuring classic French bistro dishes. The service, however, was inconsistent. One waiter was polite, attentive, and professional, while the other, more experienced waiter, was nonchalant and arrogant. The prices for the food and wine were reasonable. Overall, the experience was pleasant but could have been improved.
This charming little restaurant puts a local twist on traditional Danish lunch dishes. The cozy atmosphere and excellent service make it a pleasant dining experience. The food was delicious and it was difficult to choose from all the classic Danish lunch options, such as gourmet open-faced sandwiches. While perfect for lunch, I can see this place as a great spot for a glass of wine after work.
My friends and I had an amazing dining experience at Vintage Kitchen last Saturday evening. We opted for the tasting menu, which was flawless. The server introduced each dish in fluent English, detailing the ingredients. One member of our group was a non-meat eater, and the restaurant graciously accommodated by substituting fish for the meat. We also enjoyed several delightful amuse bouches throughout the meal. The service was top-notch and the food was incredibly delicious. While it is on the pricier side, we found the experience well worth it. We were more than happy to settle the bill.

It was recommended to me by a local, so you know this isn’t just a tourist speaking.
The food was creative and delicious, with good local food . The wine pairings were great. Friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant has a modern rustique/vintage style. We tried the restaurant but they serve food in the bar as well. I highly recommend it.
