What Hagbart Thomassen dislikes about Godt Brød Grünerløkka:
Personally, I would go the extra minute for the canola nuter at Veggie de Luca or the cinnamon bunk at Cultivate, and I prefer my rosin bunk with some spices. I had made a nice enough hummous and salad sandwich to order from a helpful server, but more innovative prepared vegan options would be welcome. The same applies to the breakfast pots only available with milk yogurt. It is a nice place to eat but and the stylis... View all feedback.
Considered by many to be Oslo's best Bakery Godt Brød has six locations across the capitol, but for those desiring the freshest Pastries and Rolls the best bet is to visit either the Bislett or Grünerløkka location where everything is made on-site daily. All Organic from Grains to dairy with an expansive Cafe divided across two distinct areas it is from friendly staff that orders are fulfilled, complimentary water and serviceware found at a station at the center with free Wi-Fi and comfortable seating throughout. Offering Sandwiches, Salads and more since 1995, though most early risers will be found matching Coffee to a pillowy Kanelbolle, fans of Cream Cheese Danishes will not be disappointed by SommerBolle with or without Fruit while the Brownie is toothsome and rich thanks to three types of Chocolate.
Norwegian pastries aren't bad but they definitely cannot compete with Japan pastries. But not a big deal, it's not a competition.
This place is 100% delicious and everything is full of flavour. I'm a vegetarian and found it really easy to eat here. They had pre made healthy vegan sandwiches. Would definitely recommend!
Lots of space and good atmosphere. The workers are very nice and you can refill black coffee for free!
Good bread? Yes they do have plenty of it, but not so good coffee is my view. We stopped in here for some breakfast but Im guessing you could come for lunch to. As the name suggests they specialise in bread and we quickly worked out that also stretched to sandwiches and all the filings that went go with them. The bread is baked on site and your start out choosing what type you want from an array of options, then you move on to meat, salad, cheese and sauce. The selection is pretty massive and I was impressed. My sandwich tasted pretty ****** good and I had a black coffee on the side. It was just sorta of average but I can forgive them that as it is not what they specialise in. Good place for a light lunch or brunch or breakfast. There was free wifi and a nice area to sit in a sort of covered courtyard. All in a nice place to be.
