But the quality of the food was amazing. It was quiet. So that’s probability why it changed our experience alto a four star rather than a five. But it is at amazing location wirh gorgeous views

Nice touches like the products for hair and... read more Had a lovely stay at The Thief, the room was fantastic, super comfortable bed and amazing bathroom, bath and shower. Nice touches like the products for hair and body, bottle of sparking water everyday and views out to the fjord. One of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time and caters for every taste and need. Sadly I couldn’t use the spa but it is a short walk to the pier in a gorgeous bathrobe and I swam in refreshing water mornings and evenings. The area is amazing for restaurants and bars and close to shopping areas and cultural sites. Staff were attentive and helpful and I hope to get the opportunity to return!!

Make sure you get the deluxe room 416 for front row seat for the parade of construction workers looking eye to eye outside your window at 7:00AM. This place is the worst Oslo has to offer! Make sure to get the free 90 minute massage (otherwise known as a 90 minute Spa Entry fee. If you don 't like setting your thermostat, again, you have come to the right place! First night we were so hot, and realized there was no way to set the thermostat yourself. There is no AC here either. The door doesn 't lock for about a minute after you exit the room, which is great for when you forget your room key and the door does not self close. You also get the luxury of never unpacking. There are no drawers to put your clothes. There is no room in the bathroom to put your toiletries and toothbrush either.

Lovely hotel, room was nice and clean but for the service, especially at the breakfast and spa there is room for improvement: during our spa appointment nobody... read more Lovely hotel, room was nice and clean but for the service, especially at the breakfast and spa there is room for improvement: during our spa appointment nobody showed us around or gave us any towels that you only get at the spa reception , while 3 employees were chatting at the reception ignoring us and saying to each other that they can’t wait to go home from work … I never experienced this before at a hotel I have to say .
