Zack makes a mean chicken wrap. The garlic sauce is delightful and the grill makes the sandwich hot and steamy! The dill pickles are a huge bonus! This is a really delish place to grab a quick bite. View all feedback.
I live about four hours away from Zack's Sandwiches in Oshawa, but I must say it is worth the trip. I haven't been in the area for many years, but I still remember the chicken and garlic hummus pita with spinach as the best I've ever had. I have even tried to recreate it in my own kitchen. I was thrilled to see that Zack's is still in Oshawa, and I plan on making a special trip to enjoy that delicious sandwich once again. In fact, I made the trip in 2019 just to confirm that it's still as amazing as I remembered. Driving four hours for a sandwich may seem extreme, but it's a true testament to how good it really is.
Zack is great at making chicken wraps. The garlic sauce is delicious and the grill makes the sandwich hot and satisfying. The dill pickles are a nice addition. This is a fantastic spot for a tasty and quick meal.
Zack relocated his restaurant from Taunton Rd to King St about ten years ago. It is a small takeout shop located on the east side of the Revenue Canada building. This private business serves delicious sandwiches, including hummus, falafel, and more. I personally enjoy the chicken finger garlic pita and the corned beef pita. The restaurant is easy to miss, located in a small alley between Scotia bank and the Revenue building. Parking is available on King St or in the parking lot across from Tim Hortons on Athol St. Once you find it, you will not be disappointed.
The chicken on a pita with garlic and pickle is the best thing ever! I have been coming back for this wrap for years and am never disappointed.
