Even if you don't want all you can eat, you can order from their takeout menu and eat in at the tables. I wasn't overly hungry, and because it was my first time, I thought I'd just sample my favourites. The hot sake stayed hot because it was served in the usual decanter with hot water around it in a small sake bucket. Nice! The hand roll and maki roll were good. Not the best I've had local, but certainly good enough... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tokushima Sushi:
All you can eat for one price - start writing #'s on the order sheet of what you want (5 sheets to a table) - and the food starts coming out. Unfortunately the staff are either not versed in the English language or just don't bother telling you portion sizes or the many "rules" for eating here. We ended up ordering way too much food - and then got charged for taking the food home. Food was okay but not the greatest,... View all feedback.
This restaurant provided the worst service I have ever experienced. The waitress threw the plate of food on the table, which was shocking. When she snatched a paper out of my hand and threw another plate, I realized there was a problem. I decided to stay and see if this behavior would occur with another customer, and indeed, when an Asian customer arrived, the service was completely different. It appeared to be a case of racial discrimination. I ordered Miso soup and Salmon but never received them. Despite dining at many different restaurants, this was the worst experience I have had as a visitor to Canada. I plan to write a letter to the media and include a video of my humiliating experience.
This restaurant is fantastic! The servers went above and beyond to accommodate my gluten-free needs, and I was very pleased with my meal.
Food is delicious and not overly priced for all you can eat sushi compared to other places. Love the dynamite rolls! Only thing missing on the menu is cheese wontons! Would recommend.
I ordered the black pepper beef at this restaurant. As shown in the picture below, the amount of beef compared to bell peppers and onions was extremely unbalanced. There were significantly more bell peppers and onions than meat, making it difficult to find the beef. The dish cost $18.99. It was disappointing to see Tokushima increase prices while reducing the portion size. When I called to address this problem, the employee simply suggested getting more beef next time. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. Poor service!
I have recently tried their calamari tempura and beef teriyaki. Food quality and taste was average. Calamari quality was not that great and not properly fried. Beef was chewy and did taste great.
