Shoeless Joe's - Oshawa

My girlfriend and I were there for a quick bite last night. We arrived at six and our drinks came. We ordered wraps and fries. Not too difficult. At seven we needed to leave but our server was not around. She had not checked on us in 45 minutes. When I finally made eye contact she said "did you not get your food yet?" I'm sure she forgot to put our order in to the kitchen. We asked for the bill for the wine and to cancel the food which she promptly did without issue. No apology from management. The server wished us a good evening on the way out - what? We missed our dinner!?! We ate a bag of chips at the event we were attending. WORST SERVICE EVER!

This Shoeless Joe's is close by and convenient for nights we don't feel like cooking. In the summer, we go once/week for dinner & drinks on the patio. Their patio sides onto Taunton, so it can be a little noisy, but it's not terrible. Food is always great. The menu has a lot of variety and they run specials with unique options on a regular basis. It's cool that their chefs have the opportunity to create dishes and have them featured in the menus. Great place for a nice meal, or appys & drinks while you catch the latest sporting event. A couple of their TVs could use being replaced but that's minor overall.

Went for lunch with family. Menu is good and has lots of options. Overall the service was quite slow. She was friendly but everything seemed in slow speed. Took quite a bit of time to receive both our lunches and our desserts. As well as any drink refills Since we were there catching up it wasn't an issue. But on a regular day it would not have been good Overall the food was good A couple people had burgers which were excellent. I had the steak sandwich and it was just okay. Nothing special and overcooked. Someone else had the Cuban sandwich which they enjoyed as well Desserts were good and a good portionAlthough nothing wrong with our lunch there was nothing that made it stand out It was just average.......

Visited on Monday afternoon and we were the only people at the restaurant....aside from the shady folks that would come in out for a few minutes at a time. Slow service, which was unacceptable since it was only us there. Food was so so. Super expensive, lunch for 2 plus a couple drinks...90 bucks...will never ever go back.

Food was okay but the service was very slow. Overall value for portions was good and food seemed fresh.
