Their Greek style on a bun was small but filled with chicken,feta cheese and I had added onions,mushrooms etc.

He... read more Stopped in while in the area, and wanted to try, as have been craving a good cheese-steak since we were in Philly last summer, and no one seems to have them. Heard of this chain from a friend in Ottawa.Was explained it cheese wiz came as a standard, and we can pick another cheese. We ordered the Large steak, wiz onions, and provolone. Wasn't until I was given total of $23.00 for just the large sandwich that we seen $4.00 for extra cheese???We sat and waited, upon first bite, I said, weird there is no cheese wiz. When staff came to ask what we thought, I said there is no cheese wiz, and we were told it came with it? They said sorry and brought us out a cup!? It was a cup of (what they called cheese wiz) and was actually runny, orange colored water. Soo gross! Asked if we wanted free onion rings for this? I said NO! Can say this place is NOTHING like Philly Cheese Steak places…When got to work today, and explained what happened, he said, weird, he’s been to Pickering

I grew up in the Niagara region where they have fantastic Philly steaks, called ‘Steak Subs’ in the area. Haven’t been able to find anything close to those great steak subs for years, but now Philthy Philly’s is here! Philthy’s seems to understand what makes a good Philly steak. You go in, put in your order, they immediately ask you what cheese you want, what items you want fried (for me, onions, hot peppers, mushrooms), additional toppings and they offer the true 12” sub sandwich size, which practically no one does these days. Cooked exactly the way you want it, Philthy’s makes a great Philly steak! While their Philly steak may not be as good as what I grew up with in the Niagara region, it is by far the best Philly steak in Durham.
