Nando's Chicken - Oshawa

3 strikes not going back. All three times I was missing items.Small portions . I paid $1 or 2 for grilled pineapple and it was one ring. Salads super small and basic. The chicken quarters smallest I have seen anywhere. Foods just not worth it

I dined here for the first time with some girlfriends, after calling ahead to make a reservation (the young lady on the phone was very courteous & proactive in asking if we would like to sit in a booth). I like that sort of serve :)The restaurant is spacious & airy with comfortable seating. The majority of the staff are fairly young but have a great handle on what customer service is all about (well done). Our food order was taken in a timely manner & also arrived in good time.The food was nice enough but my only small criticism would be that my veggie burger in my veggie pita was cold & the side's needed to be larger in size. They were tasty don't get me wrong, but they were barely 1/2 a dozen fork/spoon fulls in quantity, so these could be larger for more value. Also, it was quite cold in the restaurant whereby we had to put our jackets back on. I totally understand that there is a large grill being used in the kitchen but we don't want to eat our meals shivering.Overall we had a good time & I would dine here again because the experience was pleasant & the customer service was very good, so thank you.

We have been twice now and probably won't return. The first time we went was one of the first days they were open. Service was extremely slow, portions were small and my boyfriend didn't get the Nando's sized fries he had asked and paid for. We recently decided to give it another chance to see if they had improved with time, as most places do. Nope. The host at the front was almost confused as to what to do when we arrived and although the place was almost empty (only 3 other tables full) he placed us at a table uncomfortably close to two other ladies. Like, we were practically sharing a table... next we went up to order and once again asked and paid for a "Nando's sized" fries and did not receive them. Service is not only terribly slow but also nearly impossible to find. We saw staff outside of the kitchen maybe twice the whole time we were there. The serving sizes are almost laughable, but I must say the chicken is very tasty. I got the lemon and herb and my boyfriend got the medium peri peri. Disappointing experience and as we left I almost considered going somewhere else for something small as I was still hungry. Sorry Nando's but I don't see how you will stay around much longer!

We are just about to finish our dinner and I decided to write this spontaneous review. This way, readers know that the details are FRESH from memory, unadulterated and simply comes from the heart We received a warm welcome by Nathaniel, our table host for the night. I asked about the manager, MARIA, the assistant manager, ANTHONY and our previous waitress, ISOLENA, if they were on duty. Maria and ISOLENA were both off for the day, and ANTHONY finished his shift two hours ago. What's with the names? Let me tell you that my husband and I enjoy visiting different restaurants wherever we go. When the experience is pleasant, we make it a point to come back and let the people of the establishment know of our feedback right away. In the same way, we write honest reviews if it was a no good experience at all so the public would know.Tonight is the same wonderful dining experience we've enjoyed for the third time at Nando's Oshawa. Thank you, NATHANIEL, for giving us excellent customer service, along with one of the waitresses, JESSICA, who is as pleasant as she can be. You've proven that each employee of Nando's consistently go an extra mile to exceed expectations. No wonder the manager at nearby Scotiabank, Mr. David Brown, eats lunch at your restaurant at least once a week. Good job, and please keep the peri-peri tradition of good food, well-marinated, freshly-grilled chicken, great tasting salad and impressive entrees

My brother and mother went with me for my birthday to Nando's, and it was amazing!Pros: Chicken was nice and the hot sauce was even better. It was not tonsil burning spicy, but it had a nice flavour. My little brother's meal came with a free fro-yo, which was pretty cool. The portions there were pretty small, but just the right size to save room for dessert.Cons: Overpriced for the amount of food you're getting.
