What Lawrence S doesn't like about Kung Pao Wok:
I ask for spicy ?️ chicken..when I get the order it was so sweet. I ask hot sauce they need to extra charge. We returned the item.No more this place. Even cx service bad. View all feedback.
Ordered the Shanghai noodle 3 side meal. Got veg and the spicy fish. Didn't want to mix proteins so asked for fish twice. Apparently not. Said I would have to pay more if I wanted the same item. Just blew my mind. It's not like they didn't have alot and the amount they give you is small to begin with. Food was barely warm and noodles has 0 flavour. I ate it within 2 mins of getting it. 18 bucks for cold flavourless food. I'll try the other one in the court next time.
This is by far my favorite Chinese restaurant. I've been a loyal customer for a long time. I docked one star because I've noticed the portion sizes have become smaller over time. You can see it when they go for another scoop of meat—usually, they'll grab 5 or 6 pieces and then shake a few off the spoon, which is pretty funny. Just fill the container! Additionally, I find it strange that ordering two servings of something like General Tso's chicken costs an extra $3, even though it's the same chicken as the lemon chicken, just with a different sauce. That's a bit ridiculous, honestly. Overall, though, the food is still delicious.
I ordered spicy chicken, but when it arrived, it was overly sweet. When I requested hot sauce, they informed me that there would be an additional charge. We ended up returning the dish. I won't be returning to this restaurant again, and the customer service was lacking as well.
I ordered lunch to go from this restaurant, choosing a one-item combo and a two-item combo. When they rang me up, I thought my total seemed a bit high, but there was a line behind me, so I decided to pay and take my food home. Once I got home and did the math, I realized I had been charged for a one-item combo and a three-item combo instead. The same person who prepared the meat for my two-item combo was the one who rang me up, so it felt like either a mistake on her part or a deliberate overcharge. Regardless, the food didn't impress me enough to return after that experience. I did enjoy the noodles and the sauce on the sesame and lemon chicken, but the chicken itself was quite dry.
One of the worse food in the earth chicken taste like sugar syrup and all tast garbage $19.30 went
