The **** Mary was ok on the strong side of my wishes. My Nabeby had the Bbq ribs dinner and he enjoyed it.

In recent years... read more We've been at Huron House B B for many years and have been at AuSable Inn for so long. The staff was always friendly and the food was delicious. In recent years, we had different experiences with food, some good, some not so good and we have learned that the reason was probably due to changes in property. The last or two times we were closed in Oscoda. This past August (2021) we were at Huron House and learned that the AuSable Inn had just opened for business and that the original owner was back. We decided to try again. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious and quickly arrived, and our waiter was polite and engaged us in friendly conversation. My wife always enjoyed her pepper jacket soup and during our last visit she could order it again. I could be wrong (we eat only once a year or every few years in the restaurant), but I think the original menu had more food options than the current one. During this visit (August 2021) we ate on the back terrace overlooking the river. The tables and disguises seemed to be brand new and the view of the river in the afternoon sun seemed peaceful and a beautiful environment for our meal. Now that we know that the original owner is back, we will return to any future trips to Oscoda.
