Muy bueno! While many mexican restaurants seem to have the same food just listed as different meals, there really is a difference to every entre. Wait staff is very attentive, service is quick, prices are very reasonable. They keep our drinks refilled without having to flag them down and you just can't beat that handmade quacamole!! Highly recommend! Another many delicious meals!!! View all feedback.
What Karen Marchbanks doesn't like about Cielito Lindo Mexican Grill Cantina:
Heading home from a trip to Louisiana, we decided to stop and grab a bite to eat. My boyfriend ordered a taco salad and I ordered two soft steak tacos with a side of rice. My boyfriends taco salad was served sitting in at least a quarter of grease which could have been avoided by using a strainer. It was inedible. My steak taco was ok. Not horrible but also not amazing. My rice tasted like it had been recycled. Servi... View all feedback.
Great food. Friendly and fast service. The guava and mango waters were freshly made with natural ingredients. Plenty of truck parking at Shell gas station across the street.
Traveling from STL and this was Super convenient since it's walking distance to from hotel. First thing I noticed was it was super clean, social distancing was definitely enforced and everyone seemed pretty happy to work there. We were greeted by all the workers in sync, it was pretty cool actually. We were seated in a specified area for those wanting to indulge in an alcoholic beverage, which again was awesome! We were given a menu and offered chips and salsa with an option to add cheese sauce. We ordered their Rainbow Margarita for starters, which by the way was strong af and delicious ????. Hubby ordered the Steak Mexican but added grilled shrimp and cheese sauce on top-i ordered the shrimp chimichanga....soo the food comes and it looks delicious! My hubby is straight bashin', but he hates when he orders steak and they don't ask how he likes it cooked! The first bite of chimichanga was tasty, second was ???? But the third I decided to dip in the sour cream garnished on my plate w/guacamole, beans and lettuce. Let me tell you guys, this s$ had to be spoiled!!! I nearly threw up in my mouth, seriously-i spit it all out and smashed the rest of my margarita as well as the shrimp inside my burrito. Check the expiration dates bruh, you guys really messed me up with this one????????????????????????
It's probably the best Mexican in the area of this small town. The atmosphere was nearly nonexistent with the faint sounds of music. The staff was quick and adequate but far from being welcoming. We were served the complimentary tortilla chips and salsa along with 1 small bowl of a bean and beef soup. Since there were 2 of us I'm not sure why they only gave us 1. The salsa and soup were good and had a nice spiciness to it. I ordered the tacos al pastor which was just that. No rice or beans to accompany it. My dad ordered a taco salad with beef. My tacos were okay and had a little blandness to it. My dad's taco salad ended up looking a bit soupy at the end. He didn't finish it. Overall it was an unremarkable experience. I was surprised there were no tortas options there. Probably not a place I'd go again when traveling in the area.

Service was non-existent as I had to go ask for our check because the three people working were to busy being on their phones. Overall I would not recommend this place to anyone. One of the worse restaurant experiences Ive ever had!!
This restaurant was OK. I was hoping for better. I had the Chili Con Queso and the Chili Relleno. Both were OK. The Chili Relleno had no stuffing. I have had it before with cheese or other stuffing. The Chili Con Queso had a pile of that ground beef stuff on it which didn't add much to the taste. Service was good although I think they are under-staffed. Everyone seemed to be in a hurry. They have some good lunch specials. Perhaps trying those will lead to finding what is good at this restaurant.
