Bowles -b-que - Osceola

From the outside, it appears to be a charming, traditional BBQ spot, complete with a large homemade smoker situated near the kitchen. However, I suspect that it's more for show than anything else. The pulled pork lacked any flavor and required a generous amount of BBQ sauce just to make it palatable. I recommend seeking another place to dine.

While it may be pork, it's definitely not barbecue. The meat wasn't smoked or seasoned at all. It didn’t just lack flavor; it was unpleasant and dry. The side dishes were all from a can. If you're looking for real barbecue, this isn't the place.

My mom ordered the $22 meal that comes with a pound of pork, slaw, beans, and buns, and it was completely inedible! I've never tasted BBQ that was so terrible! I couldn't even manage to swallow the first bite. It didn't taste remotely like BBQ—I'm not sure what it was, but it was just gross! The next morning, my mom called to express her disappointment since she bought it later in the day and we couldn't eat it until after the restaurant had closed. They refused to make it right and didn't offer any replacement meal or compensation. Terrible service and awful food!

If you like good BBQ and all the yumminess that comes along with it, (not to mention all the genuine southern hospitality) and if you like being around a crowd of kind and caring people, you 're gonna love Bowles BAR-B-Q.But don 't take my word for it, hurry out to Bowles. You 'll be glad you did. Met your new best friends and favorite eating place.
