Was not happy with the fish and chips, fish straight out of a frozen packet and the chips skinny and fat filled

This is a great old pub with no frills whatsover. It's my go to for a beer with a friend and a decent serve of pub grub. I had their chicken wings whilst my mate had a steak burger with both being delicious. Actually, their meals are all fantastic and decect serves. Having a TAB on the place gives options for a beer and watch a race too.

Frequently have dinner there good pricing, good serves and food always well presented Miss really good specials of the day like the other pubs though

Staff friendly service great food was acceptable beer was cold except for rats running around in al fresco spoilt the whole night

This is a great pub for a quiet beer, decent sized meal and watch the sports or a beer. It is more suited to the tradie though as they appear to cater more heavily to this crowd. That 's not a bad thing though. Their food and beer prices are very reasonable and staff extremely friendly. This has a Cheers feel about it, for regulars. I noticed that the barmaid pours out their beers without them asking apart from the words Your usual and recieving acknowledgement with a small nod of approval. On this occasion I was here with a mate and enjoyed this pub for its simple but efficient ambience. I had the chicken pieces with chilli wedges with sour cream and chilli sauce. This, with a couple of beers and bets made for an enjoyable lunch.
