What MP R doesn't like about Amaretto Caffe Pizzeria Trattoria:
Disappointed! We called in on a miserable evening for a bowl of our favourite soup. Price has stayed the same but the bowl has almost halved!! Why do places do that stops us going back as often as we used to. View all feedback.
One of the most under appreciated restaurants in Perth. Everyone says it's average and this and that. But personally I believe Italian doesn't need to be showy or fancy but it needs to be hearty, flavoursome and average priced. It's on a main corner right in Osbourne Park. We've taken guests from Italy there and they have also raved about the food. Look, it probably isn't the best Italian in Perth. But it's relaxed, the wait staff are lovely, it's reasonably priced and they have ice-cream in the shape of pasta! You can't really ask for anything else!
I have going here since they opened soooo many years ago. Have always treaded me very well, friendly, good service and good food. Great for a meal, coffee, meet friends, business meets etc
What a waste! $45 for the junkiest breakfast. Don't waste your time or money people. Not only was the breakfast sloppy but the customer service was terrible too! If I could give this place a minus in stars I would! Two thumbs down for this one
The customer service here has never been great and the prices are high for what it offers, however I come to amarettos for local convenience . Never again tho!!! This morning I came for breakfast this morning at 8.30, the place was totally empty and I sat at the open window pane. I was asked if I was waiting for someone and was treated with outright sarcasm as clearly the woman serving me felt I should not have the favoured spot as an only person. I'm sick to death of being shoved in a corner or against a wall because the venue staff or owners don't value single diners with a single order. This woman's (owner) sarcasm, simply because I took a table she didn't want me to have was disgraceful. I am now ready to leave the cafe at 9.30 and there is still only one other diner here. Her sarcasm was unjustified and she has now lost a local regular. If you're reading this owner, you need to be mindful there is so much more competition now, competition your establishment can't match, so at least respect your customers if you want to survive!!!
Casual and friendly atmosphere. We had pizzas and pasta. Lots of bread and olives and sausage before dinner. Mains were in the $20s. Steaks were in $30s. Size of plates were large. Lovely atmosphere for a large family outing of more than 20.
