If you're looking for an outstanding brunch spot, I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is simply fantastic, with highlights including the Two Eggs Hash Browns and Toast, as well as the Meat Lovers Omelette served with a side of crispy hash browns. Both dishes are delicious and satisfying.
The service was exceptional as well, with attentive and friendly staff who made our dining experience enjoyable. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Overall, a perfect spot for brunch!.
What Justin Althaus doesn't like about A J's:
We were seated at a large table, and the owner inquired if we were expecting more guests. We jokingly replied, "No, is the herd coming?" and mentioned we could move if needed. She took our comment very seriously. When she asked what drinks we wanted, she never inquired if we wanted anything else with our meals. She approached the table and simply stood there, not asking if we were ready to order, until I finally had... View all feedback.
We always make breakfast at ajs when we stay in the lake osakis and it has never disappointed! delicious food and service and fun atmosphere
I wish I had taken a picture. I always think of it too late. I had a delivery about 6 miles further into town. I saw AJ:s on my way through and made a point to remember. The parking area was packed and told me it was a local hot spot to eat. Boy was thought correct.I got the Denver omelet. My favorite breakfast selection. It's was not only the most beautiful omelette ever. It was the most flavorful. I could taste every ingredient individually. If I am ever in the area again. You can bet I'll be stopping in. If I can get a parking space.By the way, my daughter loves the earrings.I am so glad your restaurant survived COVID.It's a very warm, inviting, home town friendly feel.
Fantastic food and a great price. Always stop through on the way to the lake.
This was our first time there and the food was amazing with very generous portions! I was also able to finish my Christmas shopping in their boutique.
We were seated at a large table, and the owner inquired if we were expecting more guests. We jokingly replied, "No, is the herd coming?" and mentioned we could move if needed. She took our comment very seriously. When she asked what drinks we wanted, she never inquired if we wanted anything else with our meals. She approached the table and simply stood there, not asking if we were ready to order, until I finally had to place the order. Throughout our visit, she never checked in to see how our food was or said thank you for stopping by. In fact, she spoke only about seven words during the entire time we were there. This level of service is completely unacceptable, especially for the owner. I won't be returning, as I've never encountered anything like this before.
