One word: FABULOUS! I came here for the ultimate sushi experience and I got it. The service was unsurpassed. Before each course the waiter showed us a book that explains what fish we ate. The chef was a friendly, warm gentleman who made sure we took care of it. We had the choice of three white wines all in different price classes that went with our meal. They serve green tea after meal. Did not get many pictures because we were respectful of the no phone policy, but I had to ask the cook if we could get a picture with him. This meal was the best meal I've ever eaten. I hope you get a chance to stop and enjoy his art. Arigato!

Wonderful, intimate Omakase experience in Osaka. Both the food and the service were fantastic. Far away from the Dotonbori tourist area. Japanese definitely helps, but they are definitely even if you don't speak. The menu is in Japanese, so if you can't read it, just ask for the recommendation of the cook (o-su-me). Will definitely return to Osaka next time. Very recommended. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
This is one of the always great in Sushi. Morioka Taisho is amazing. If I visit New York, I'd like to go there.
Absolutely unprofessional and disrespectful. I have made a reservation at Sushi Hirokawa more than 2 months ago, prior to my visit to Japan, and I have been very excited to finally try the restaurant. I completely paid for it in advance for 2 persons through Pocket Concierge, only to be told last minute, on the day of my travel, thay they had to cancel my reservation due to an error made by the clerk for my allocated booking slot. I did not book this 1 or 2 days ago, but months in advance. You would think that a Michelin restaurant would be way more professional at handling customers but unfortuntaley this is not the case with Sushi Hirokawa. I hve planned everything for this trip many months in advance, and I am really disappointed that it had to start this way, as informing me last minute didn 't even allow me to book at another restaurant, as everything was already fully booked. I will also contact the Michelin guide due to this disrespect and unprofessionalism in dealing with guests. Regards Mohammad
