I missed vegan cake so much! it's kind of expensive (about 400 yen for a small piece), but it's worth it when they have an appetit. when I was there, they had a chocolate cream roll, a matcha cream roll and a pear tea. everything is clearly marked as vegan. View all feedback.
Osaka seems to be the best place for all vegan sweet treats and Nanahako didn’t disappoint. After visiting Osaka castle we headed to Nanahako would highly recommend, great cakes. Order: vegan peach sponge, apple tarte tatin, vegan mont blanc
Sadly we got there too early and they didn't had yet many things available but both the matcha and the mille-feuille we had were fantastic, so delicate both in taste and presentation! Japan is truly in another level for desserts and sweets, they are never too sugary and teeth hurting sweet as their western counterparts! An absolute treat
The place is tiny but it has a lot of vegan options (they told me all the cakes in the showcase). I have been trying to get the famous japanese cream-strawberry cake for years. It was good! It wasn't too flavorful maybe because I think they use natural and raw ingredients (but maybe the original tastes the same. A little bit expensive but I think that is always the case with sweets.

I tried the chocolate layered cake and the raspberry tart. Both were amazing not dry and full of flavor! We are buying more to go!
