We walked in at approx 1400hrs for a late lunch. I asked whether we could be served and the young gentleman welcomed us with a smile and offered us a table. We ordered a plate of ravioli, a pizza and a plate of tagliatelle. This was prepared and served in no time and was superb. I would certainly recommend this to anyone. The place has great character with a lot of wood carvings adorning the walls. View all feedback.
What Rosalino Amato doesn't like about Caffe Brozzi:
Found this bar and went In for a quick bite to eat when in Orvieto. To be honest most of the food we ordered was good but I have to admit I wish the service was a bit faster. The bar only had two people on and we were a party of eight so this may explain the slower service. The prices were very reasonable and we were in and out in about an hour and a half. The staff was kind and accomodating. View all feedback.
We arrived in Orvieto by train this afternoon, and after a walk of the town settled into Cafe bar Di Brozzi for a drink and light lunch and were not disappointed. Prosecco and local white wine to start, then bruschetta and focaccia for us, both delicious. A warm and welcoming bar, friendly staff, and good value in this beautiful little town. Will enjoy exploring the next three days in little laneways with so many eateries to choose from.
Beautiful little cafe/wine bar. Amazing gnocchi, focaccia sandwich, pasta with meat sauce.... and all very inexpensive. Great service. On a beautiful street with a nice place to sit outside.
Seriously the BEST panini (mozzeralla and tomato, and salami parmigiano and bruschetta with beans and onions. JUST amazing, simple but the freshness of ingrediats just makes all the difference. The outside may not be interesting but the interior is cozy and piles of great magazines to flip though. Was really suprised at how much we loved this lunch. Maybe the best of lunches in Orvieto!
We stop for a tourist break in the center, we prefer the tables inside. seats are comfortable (for a bar,) the staff is available. there are some dishes that eventually confirm the promises. overall a great break.
We were still a bit jet lagged so tend to eat a bit earlier than the locals. By 7pm its the middle of the night for us. We popped in for a quick meal. The gnocchi with 4 cheeses was very pleasant as was my husband tagliatelle with meat ragu . We shared a small jug of house white and also a pear and pecorino salad which was probably the star of the evening.
