It was 8:... read more What a nice stop over for dinner. We were traveling through the area. It was getting late, and a quick Google search told us about The Dam Restaurant. It was 8:00 p.m. and they were closing in an hour. Normally, we don't like to get to a restaurant that is close to closing. When we arrived, they were just finishing up with a large group. As soon as we ordered, another large group came in. The staff treated us like they had all night to serve us. We were not hurried. The service and the food were great. We both had the Casear Salad. I chose chicken as my topping, and my wife chose Walleye. It was all delicious. The bar looked like a great place to hang for the evening, but we needed to get on down the road.
