Village Bakeshop - Orono

We've gone here for over 15 years & figured it's about time to review this bakery/Cafe/deli.There is really nothing as far as baked goods that we haven't tried and everything is very good. We have stayed & gone upstairs for a coffee & baked treat while in area & have met people from all over Toronto.We have ordered cakes for special occasions and although the decoration is not top notch the cake is & there is never left overs.The staff is all amazingly friendly, helpful & attentive.

This is definitely the hub of the town. Family run bakeshop that also does chocolate and Dutch groceries

If you like pastries, or Dutch food and artifacts, this is the place for you. There's your Dutch cookies, Dutch cheese, objects with Dutch symbols on them,... I tried their homemade lemon pastries, and I absolutely enjoyed them. Definitely, a place I'd recommend.

People come from far away to buy wonderful sweet treats such as cookies, tarts, cakes, bars, donuts, eclairs, fudge, chocolates and bread to name a few. You're greeted bya very pleasant staff. There's also a coffee room upstairs which has a lovely display ofitems to purchase.

Go in once or twice a week for ham and some great cheeses the best apple fritters and chocolate eclairs. Nice homemade breads too. Love this place very addictive
