Today was such a hot day that I stopped at this nearby restaurants' drive-thru for a nice cool, soft ice cream. I ordered my ice cream in a cup since I'm not crazy about eating any type of ice-cream cone.To my surprise, the server passed the cup to me with an upside-down ice-cream cone atop of a huge (to me) mound of ice cream. Both my lovely wife Pat and I laughed when we saw it. As I drove to a secluded place to enj... View all feedback.

Took my sons for happy meals and both were missing their yogurt 9which they love). I mentioned this on my next visit and they simply said, "Pretty sure they are both in there today." So much for making things right. That is one example.Today, the fries are cold. I find if I don't sit and examine everything before pulling out, I get home to either something missing, cold food or annoyed with impolite, rude staff.ALWAYS worth the drive across town to the very friendly McDonald street McDonald's. There fries are always hot and they consistently get the order right.
I'm not a frequent McDonald's customer, but while out running errands today, I got a hankering for a Filet-O-Fish, and I headed straight to the Gateway drive-thru. I was truly embarrassed by the interaction I had with the staff passing me my order. Not embarrassed for me, but for my town. If I’d been a traveler passing through I would likely never stop here again. It was 12:20 p.m., and although it was lunch-time and busy, the line was going smoothly, even quickly. I received my meal and drink (with pop spilling over the sides - but I bit my tongue, knowing I can easily wipe this up with my napkin). The issue started when I simply asked for “4 or 5” ketchup. The young lady was passed some ketchup from a co-worker, and she gave me 3. (Not quite enough in my experience for my medium fries.) If she’d given me 4 or 5 I would’ve been merrily on my way. Not a big deal, I simply asked for 1 or 2 more. THEN it HAPPENED, she proceeded to tell me “Next time, ask for ketchup when you’re ordering . . . blah, blah, blah, you’re holding up the line!” I was shocked. If I’d thought about it I would’ve asked for a refund, instead I told her, “Next time I’ll go to a different McDonald’s”. Is my custom not as important as that of the patron behind me? Truly service is lacking these days, but I thought more of my fellow citizens in Oromocto.
If there is one thing I love of McDonald's, it's the fries. But if there's one thing I hate about fries is when they are served cold. How can this McDonalds serve their best item almost cold? I had to wait for a few minutes for my order. I never thought anything of it until the girl at the window apologized for the wait. But when I dipped into the bag to get a taste of those ever so salty, crisp fries, I was met with limp ones instead. Disappointed for sure...Other reviews suggested cold food as well. Last time I go to this McDonalds... Waste of money.
Nice and clean area, the folks working there were nice also. The service was fast. The washrooms were clean.
Very friendly counter staff! Food was typical McDonalds. I do find the carrot muffins to be VERY good!!!!
