What Marie Lisa doesn't like about Stacks Book Club:
I was hoping for a calmer environment on my first trip to a local bookshop. I have to say, staff yelling across the shop about the money safe being jammed and needing help to open was not something I wanted to hear while book shopping. Employees were friendly but talked way too loud to each other. Made conversations difficult.
If I lived in Tucson, I would work here for free ! BEST Concept of a book shop/Coffee Shop EVER !!! EVERY Trip to Tucson, I can be found at Stacks, service is amazing, the food delicious and great books ! Get a Bagel with their homemade cream cheese THE BEST !
Very small selection of books. For some reason there are speakers blasting pop/country music at you the whole time which seems very out of place at a book store, I never saw an employee once but I could hear them in the back laughing and yelling at the top of their lungs, they might have decent drinks but I really didn't feel like waiting around to find out.
Great drinks and super friendly staff! I enjoy coming here to work. The awesome book selection is a bonus, too!
