My wife's steak was delicious and reasonably priced, while my Parmy was thick and juicy (made with real chicken). The kids' burger was so big it could have easily fed an adult. To top it off, we even won the meat tray. We want to extend our thanks to the staff for providing the best service we have experienced in a long time.

When I asked for... read more This restaurant experience was one of the worst I've ever had. The menu is deceiving and overpriced! Who serves bangers and mash without gravy? When I asked for some, the waitress said it would cost extra. She informed me that the bangers and mash is only available as a lunch special Monday to Friday. Today is Sunday, and the only bangers and mash available is on the kids' menu, without gravy. This was not made clear when we ordered. As a local trying to support local businesses, I am extremely disappointed in the treatment we received. Shearers Arms, this is bad form. I will not be returning.

The front betting bar sho... read more The restaurant should update its theme as modern pub-goers are not interested in seeing horse and greyhound racing on all the screens. The front betting bar should be transformed into a live music bar to create a more inviting atmosphere for both men and women to enjoy drinks and socialize without the presence of old gamblers, which brings down the overall vibe of the establishment.

Firstly our drinks were incorrect and after waiting over 50 minutes for food we asked about food and we were told that the order hadn’t been started as it had not gone through We soon after left getting a refund for food as didn’t want to wait any longer but not for the drinks!! What a joke! Went for son’s 12th birthday as a family tradition, looks like we will have to find somewhere else to go.
