La Locanda D'upega - ORMEA

On the recommendation of friends we booked in as a group for dinner, bed, breakfast and a walk with snow shoes in the woods. On arrival we had a warm welcome and were shown to our rooms. The rooms were simple, but very comfortable and spotlessly clean.The young team who run the locale are delightful, relaxed and unfurled. After an aperitivo, we were kitted out with snow shoes and off into the night we went, it was a good two hour walk into the woods, and although slightly challenging at tomes, was well worth the effort. On arrival at the Locanda we had a very hearty dinner (with slow cooked pork cooked in the village oven) with well priced local wine. A good nights sleep, breakfast served without fuss. We will be back…. en masse. Complimenti!
