The dining experience was fantastic! As a local, I usually steer clear of the International Drive area, but this spot came highly recommended by Orlando Weekly, and it did not disappoint. It was definitely worth the trip. The Brussels sprouts were incredibly delicious, and the fish was cooked to perfection. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Urban Tide:
The ambiance was beautiful, and the waiter was excellent and welcoming. However, the overall experience felt quite understated, which impacted our visit. The food took a typical amount of time to arrive, but there were frequent delays. Our drinks took around 20 minutes to come to our table. Surprisingly, the appetizers arrived first, even though we ordered them later. Our initial waiter seemed to vanish, and after a... View all feedback.
Maybe the challenges were just because it was Valentine's Day, but the host didn't even get out 5-8 minutes. they sat us in the bar area as an overflow for the amount of holiday, although we had reservations. that meant that the waiting staff would forget us one thing. the food was good. my wife didn't like the cauliflower that came with the fish, but fortunately she also ordered the grotten she loved. I enjoyed surfing and shaking, the sauce was good. we had crabcake as an appetizer, they were tasty but small. overall, not sure that I go back because there are so many beautiful places to eat in the opposite. That was okay, but I'd say that money. oh, they validate park, themselves or valet, so that is nice, since parking is normally $27.
Annual dinner during PGA Show with friends and never disappoints! All of us felt our this was the best from Nicole (server) to food and desserts! Halibut entree (2 of us had this) was out of this world! See you in 2021, Lord willing!!
I was at the hotel for a convention, and decided to sample the seafood at Urban Tide. My waiter was extremely quick and attentive. The shrimp salad was pretty but the flavors were overpowered by the vinegar in the dressing. I had the Scottish Salmon as an entree, it was a beautiful and unusual stacked presentation of salmon, potatoes, vegetables and an egg on top. The salmon was slightly overcooked, but otherwise the dish was very good. Nothing else comes with the meal, and the portions are small to medium. With one glass of wine, it was almost $60. The restaurant was a little noisy and toward the end of my meal, they seated a large table right alongside the booth I was in.
Strong in seafood, particularly local seafood, menu is focused on a few things done well. Our waiter provided educated and tasteful suggestions, and ensured that requested modifications to one of my companion’s dishes were made appropriately. We were not hurried at all.
Service was extremely slow given restaurant wasn’t that busy. Ordered drinks and they didn’t show up until maybe 1/2 hour later. , etc..
