What Michael Chamness doesn't like about The Robinson Cafe:
Wife and I went to grab a cocktail from here while waiting for Shots to open. I ordered a Moscow mule, and the wife ordered some other cocktail. My mule tasted like 100% lime juice, and my wife said her drink tasted bad too. It took close to 20 minutes for the 2, terrible tasting drinks. The place looks amazing though, hopefully the coffee is better. View all feedback.
My wife and I decided to grab a cocktail while we waited for Shots to open. I ordered a Moscow Mule, and my wife chose a different cocktail. Unfortunately, my drink was overly limey, and my wife mentioned that hers wasn't good either. We had to wait nearly 20 minutes for our two disappointing drinks. On the bright side, the atmosphere is fantastic—I can only hope the coffee is better!
This is my favorite spot in Orlando! The bartenders are extremely friendly and knowledgeable; they genuinely take the time to chat with you while serving. They craft one of the best espresso martinis I've ever had, and unlike other places, they never show any annoyance at orders—always managing everything with a smile. The bathroom is also quite impressive and makes for a great photo opportunity. The only thing that could enhance this bar is if they expanded it! I highly recommend it, and I always make sure to bring my friends when I'm downtown.
The coffee was excellent, and the staff at the checkout were extremely friendly. However, the food service was disappointing. It took 35 minutes to get two food orders, and when they finally arrived, I discovered a hair in my dish. I had already taken a few bites before I noticed it, and unfortunately, the flavor was off—it tasted as if it had been cooked in rancid oil. I couldn’t finish it. My sister ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and enjoyed it, which is a positive note. Overall, I found it to be quite overpriced.
BEST BAR I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! It had the vibes with great music, nice decor, great drinks and fast bartenders. It was the best bar lounge experience I've ever had. The service overall was immaculate. If your in Orlando definitely come on a Friday night!
Really well done on decoration, the space of both the cocktail lounge upstairs and the cafe downstairs. Very central location and pretty well priced on the higher end side.
