eating was great, service from our host nina was excellent. booked with opentable, but unfortunately got the feeling that they had no recording about our booking, although the employees tried their best to hide it and fortunately were able to accommodate us. we came there before sunset and enjoyed admiring the animals that stroll around outside. there are also night vision farglasses, although for after dark. portion... What User doesn't like about Sanaa Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge:
Be warned, this restaurant does not take open table reservations. Apparently their computer does not communicate with open table. They took us, but we had to wait and had no reservation although I had a confirmation. Food was good, they had kid options and price was reasonable. Bread plate was great for letting kids try the spices, and was delicious. View all feedback.
A formerly hidden Disney World gem that's been discovered. Make sure you have a reservation and get the bread service.
Food was great, so was service. The only problem was we made a reservation on Open table for 2:15. Checked in at 2:10 and there wasn't a reservation, even though I had a confirmation email and number. We had to wait 40 minutes before getting seated. Please fix this problem. Thanks so much.
Nice setup. Very cool to have the animals go by while you're in restaurant. There is also an area to step to view the animals. We had a reservation, yet had to wait an additional 20 minutes, which we passed the time outside animal watching. The waiter, Pedro, was pretty sarcastic which I didn't care for, but the kicker for me was the length of time it took to get food and the lack of food I was given. The party next to us was seated after we ordered our food yet got their food before us. I also looked at plates of who I was with as well as others near me and the food was lacking. I got was might have equaled a leaf of collard greens and a tablespoon of rice pressed into the plate and sitting under my square piece of fish. I brought it up to the waiter with no resolution. Very disappointing as this was my choice for my birthday dinner and the experience was subpar. Cool environment though, but I am okay with not going back.
Highly recommend the Naan bread selection, the Butter Chicken, and finish with a wonderful coconut rice pudding. Great place!
An earlier hidden disney world gem that was discovered. make sure they receive a reservation and brotservice.
